Colonna Resort is subdivided in several blocks that, with its simple lines - typical of the “Mediterranean” style architecture - expands in a system of swimming pools with waterfalls over a park of strawberry, myrtle and juniper trees. Here, the sea, the sun, the light, the hills and the surrounding greeneries are the natural setting of this exclusive settlement, where granite stone dominates, coverings of some parts of the walls. Clients who arrive for the first time to the Resort are struck by the tidiness, the streets, the villas, the lawns, the rocks and the scent of the spontaneous vegetation: from the view of the entrance of the old Porto Cervo harbour to the most beautiful and exclusive boats of the world.
Rooms
The Colonna Resort has 250 rooms in total: Standard (20 Sqm), Deluxe (20 Sqm) and Suites. Almost all the rooms have a sea view, with a breathtaking sight over the blue sea of Costa Smeralda; the few garden-view rooms, though, are peaceful and relaxing. All rooms has a balcony or terrace with table and chairs. Rooms are decorated and furnished with a fine and sober Sardinian style and they are equipped with air conditioning, direct phone, minibar, safe, internet signal (wi-fi connection in all rooms) and sat TV. Bathrooms are equipped with hair dryer, direct phone, bath and shower.
Restaurants
The Resort offers its guests the opportunity to discover and enjoy the delicious flavours of the local gastronomic tradition combined according to the taste and creativity of our chefs, the best in Costa Smeralda. Based on a very high quality products, the kitchen of our resort boasts a huge variety of dishes that can be accompanied by the finest wines and most famous labels. Colonna Restaurant: located on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking the roofs of the hotel and overlooking the sea is the main room of the Resort. It serves a buffet breakfast and delicious dinners by candlelight with a la carte menu. A unique setting, where the elegant gazebo on the terrace are the hallmark of the most romantic restaurant in the resort. You need a formal dress.
Colonna Caffè: the terrace of the Colonna Café is the most scenic of the Resort: a terrace overlooking the sea, the swimming pools, the beach and the Gulf of Porto Cervo. This is also the most elegant living room the whole structure, serving cocktails and drinks of all kinds. Here, after-dinner aperitifs are immersed in a magical atmosphere with a special attention to customer privacy. Open from 10am to 12pm.
Pagoda Beach Restaurant: is located near the pools and the beach, overlooking the sea. It accommodates up to 400 people approx. This restaurant, with a rustic Mediterranean style, serves a buffet lunch: a perfect resting spot for a day dedicated to the sea and the sun. With its rich and original set, the restaurant is also used for events and gala dinners, where the rustic elegance is softened by candlelight, with the lights of Porto Cervo and the most elegant shimmer in the background. Opening hours: 13:00 to 14:30 - a casual dress is required.
Beach Bar: situated close to the swimming pool, it offers a panoramic view of the beautiful turquoise sea, of the beach ivory and wooden pier. It offers snacks, toast, salads and snacks, but also our famous cocktails and refreshing fruit drinks, for those people who does not want to stray too far from the sea during the sunny days that only the Emerald Coast offers. Opening hours: 10:30 to 19:00.
